Cantu Beauty, a company that makes hair care products, has announced the appointment of Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jordin Sparks as its brand ambassador.
In particular, the brand's collaboration with the international nonprofit organization Women Empowering Nations, is one of the community efforts that Jordin Sparks and Cantu are working together to highlight.
"It's a dream to be working with Cantu to help uplift the next generation of women who are on their own unique and powerful journeys to building their bright futures," Jordin Sparks shares. Last month, Sparks surprised the final 11 female applicants for the Cantu GLOW Global Fellowship, a four-month hands-on experience in the beauty sector with Women Empowering Nations, to officially launch the relationship. Each young woman was immersed in four areas within the beauty industry — consumer, concept, commercial, and campaign — allowing them to experience a beauty campaign from concept to shelf. The fellowship culminated with a capstone and group travel seminar to Accra, Ghana this month.
