American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, known for her youthful, mix-match skater-girl look on-and-off the red carpet, has partnered with lifestyle brand Nike for their newest collection. In her partnership with Nike, the 20-year-old was given the opportunity to reimagine some of her favourite Nike collections, such as the famous Air Force 1 sneakers, with colours and environmentally-friendly materials. Eilish posted the news on Instagram: “So excited to announce my new @nike air force 1 and apparel collection. It was an honor to reimagine the originals while making them my own & i can’t WAIT for them to be yours.” Other Nike classics to be reimagined include the Alpha Force Low and Air Trainer 3. The straps cover the shoelaces “and are finished with tabs that mirror the Nike Grind midsole,” all in an outstanding yet modest tonal beige mushroom colour. This will be Eilish’s second collaboration with Nike. Succeeding the mushroom colour outline, the Nike x Billie Apparel Collection will have clothes that are typically worn by Eilish: hoodies, sweatpants and a t-shirt. All items will be oversized in fit and have understated “Billie Eilish” graphics on them.
